concept yachts for 2023

2023 had a variety of unique superyacht concepts, created by some of the most creative minds in the industry. Radical exterior profiles, luxurious on-board amenities and sustainable solutions are just some of the elements incorporated into these concepts.

Let's take a look at some of the standouts:

The futuristic concept catamaran 80m Decadence:

Renowned British design studio Andy Waugh Yacht Design has presented an innovative 80m catamaran concept called Decadence. Inspired by the technological advances seen in the automotive and aeronautical industries of the 1920s, the design aims to capture the essence of that era while pushing the limits of modern design and engineering.

The "flying" yacht Plectrum

Το "ιπτάμενο" γιοτ Plectrum

A prototype yacht of 74 meters length called Plectrum has been unveiled by the Italian studio Lazzarini Design Studio.

The design is inspired by the most modern America's Cup yachts - specifically the Luna Rossa design - and is a larger example of foiling technology installed on a yacht. The ultralight yacht can reach an estimated top speed of 75 knots and is made entirely of carbon.

Natural Selection: Feadship Concept inspired by nature embraces sustainability

Natural Selection-Dunes: Η ιδέα της Feadship εμπνευσμένη από τη φύση

The 2023 Monaco Yacht Show debuts Feadship’s twelfth cutting-edge Concept Design, a breath-taking 83-metre with significantly reduced energy needs. Flowing lines from Studio De Voogt reflect the concept’s namesake… Dunes, while the mast and stern add an air of mystery to the organic shapes of the superstructure. It’s what can’t be seen, however, that sets this concept at the forefront of sustainability.

The impressive Domus - the first zero emission trimaran

Το εντυπωσιακό Domus- το πρώτο trimaran μηδενικών εκπομπών

Yacht design studios Van Geest Design and Rob Doyle Design have come up with a trimaran concept that aims to be "the first truly zero-emission yacht over 750 tonnes".

The megayacht Domus will be powered by a combination of hydrogen fuel cells, hydroelectric generation – the creation of power through sailing – and solar power.

Nautilus: The Superyacht Submersible can function as a boat or as a submarine

Nautilus:Το υποβρύχιο Superyacht μπορεί να λειτουργήσει ως σκάφος ή ως υποβρύχιο

A Dutch submarine manufacturer U-Boat Worx has unveiled the interior design for the Nautilus Yacht Submarine, created in collaboration with a world-renowned design firm, Officina Armare. This vessel is the perfect combination of luxury and technology, serving as both a private yacht and a fully functional submarine. Capable of diving up to 150 meters and covering a range of 3,200 nautical miles, the Nautilus Yacht Submarine is designed to explore the most exclusive and remote destinations on Earth.

The "virtually invisible" Project Pegasus. The world's first 3D-printed superyacht

Το "αόρατο" superyacht Pegasus. Το πρώτο 3D -printed σκάφος στον κόσμο

Project Pegasus was presented by Jozeph Forakis in collaboration with Lateral Naval Architects as the world's first 3D-printed superyacht. The 88m long Project Pegasus with its reflective "solar wings" is a solar-electric/hydrogen hybrid with zero emissions and infinite range.

The futuristic yacht was designed on a beach in Koufonissi, Greece. Jozeph was inspired to create a yacht as close to the sea and nature as possible, made of clouds floating above the surface of the sea, becoming virtually invisible. It was the designer's desire to achieve the "invisible" that led him to develop a true zero-emission yacht that is invisible both in design and in its environmental impact.

Meyer Yachts Presents a revolutionary concept combining a superyacht and a floating villa

The Meyer Group has combined its two business divisions Meyer Yachts and Meyer Floating Solutions to imagine the new project.
