Βoating Greece was present at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2025, the premier event in the world of luxury yachting, held from September 9 to 14 in Cannes. Our coverage focused on the most important world premieres, participating in sea trials, and attending press conferences of the leading groups in the yachting industry. We had the opportunity to experience some of the most innovative and prestigious yachts first-hand, meet designers, and get exclusive insights into the latest trends shaping the future of luxury yachting.

Sea Trials

During the festival, we experienced three outstanding yachts at sea:

  • Apreamare Gozzo 48 – Classic Italian design with elegance, comfort, and a timeless feel on the water

  • Azimut Fly 82 – Fly series flagship offering spacious open decks and exceptional onboard living areas.

  • Evo R4 – High-performance yacht providing a thrilling navigation experience with advanced X-Glass technology.

We had the chance to explore the following yachts in detail:

  • Dolcevita Super – A classic and elegant yacht with timeless design, perfect for relaxed cruising in style.

  • Pichiotti Gentleman (Italian Sea Group) – Italian flair, spacious interiors, and meticulously designed outdoor areas.

  • Sanlorenzo SX120 – Flagship of the SX crossover range, the first composite yacht to feature Volvo Penta’s new IPS system. Flexible layout and luxurious deck for an exceptional onboard experience.

  • VisionF’s new model – Innovative and modern lines, with unique interior solutions that combine style and functionality.

  • Benetti Oasis 42 – Expansive living spaces, one of the largest pools in its category, elegant exterior lines, and luxurious interiors offering wellness-focused experiences.

  • Columbus Big Naan – First unit of the Columbus Crossover 42 series, featuring a modern and muscular exterior by Hydro Tec and interiors by Hot Lab. The bow area concentrates volume for explorer-style performance, and the flexible cockpit provides versatility for extended cruising.

We also attended the exclusive presentation of the Benetti Oasis 42M, where the designers introduced the yacht and shared insights about the new model:

  • The yacht offers expansive living spaces and one of the largest pools in its category.

  • Sleek, timeless exterior lines by RWD combined with a new interior language from bonetti/kozerski architecture, enhanced with innovative materials.

  • The first unit has already been sold, with delivery scheduled for 2027.

  • Designed as a private retreat under 45 metres, the yacht emphasizes wellness and sustainability, achieving a 3-star Sea Index rating.
