Videoworks showcased a new suite of security technologies at Metstrade 2025 in Amsterdam, designed to protect against threats such as hijacking, hacking, and drones. The systems can be integrated from the start of a yacht project or added later during a refit.

Geopolitical instability makes both physical and digital security more important than ever for superyacht owners. For the first time, Videoworks offers a full range of solutions from a single source, including panic rooms and advanced security sensors.

Panic rooms are designed for yachts over 1,500GT and provide a secure environment with communication, backup power, weapon storage, and strategic deterrents. Beyond personal safety, they can lower insurance premiums, increase charter and resale value, and enhance the owner’s reputation.

Advanced sensors include LIDAR, underfloor motion detection, and drone detection. All data is processed through AI software that identifies threats in real time and establishes virtual fences around critical areas.

This integrated approach allows shipyards and owner teams to manage all security, AV, and IT systems within a user-friendly platform, simple to install and operate. Crew training is emphasized to ensure proper use of the technology.

At Metstrade, Videoworks also presented Neurøise, an AI platform creating personalized and interactive storytelling experiences for guests, combining display technologies and adaptive narratives. The partnership with NoNoise strengthens development for onboard use and positions both companies in the market.
