The Dutch studio Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design presented the AWARE concept at the Monaco Yacht Show 2023. The 79.9 meter long superyacht has been meticulously designed, with the maximization of space as a central pillar of its design concept.
Featuring a low profile and long, sleek silhouette, AWARE sails eight meters above the waterline and features a triple deck design. At the same time, a pavilion of a single configuration on the deck of the bridge offers an unlimited view.
Aware's key considerations include the use of light, space and the balance between exterior and interior. Shutters, adjustable blinds and grids on concealed skylights to help control the level of daylight.
The aim of the designers was to increase the outdoor living spaces, where according to them, visitors tend to spend most of their time.
"For the design of AWARE, the focus is on maximizing the space onboard within the yacht's limited structure," explained designer Sander Sinot. "We designed open plan layouts for the beach club, lounges and exterior decks that offer inherent flexibility and ample space while reducing the number of decks."
Areas that have benefited from this increased use of outdoor space include the beach club, which is three meters high, extendable terraces and integrated sliding glass partitions that can be removed or added depending on their use.
The yacht has 460 square meters of outdoor space on the bridge deck. The open plan living room with dining, library and wheelhouse is housed within a glass pavilion, awe-inspiring with its panoramic views and combination of nature and luxury.
Skylights with integrated shade grids are located on the roof along its sides, letting light into the interior and enhancing the inside-outside connection. The elegant central glass circular staircase connects the lower deck, main deck and bridge deck and gives the illusion of floating stairs.
The new Sinot concept yacht can comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests in a five-cabin configuration. The owner's full beam suite spans the main deck and epitomizes luxury living at sea. Measuring 80 square meters, the suite seamlessly combines spaciousness with thoughtful design, providing the owner with an inviting lounge area and an attached balcony with a private Jacuzzi.
The remaining guest cabins are located around AWARE's main staircase lobby. Each cabin has a private bathroom, large windows and is designed to create an atmosphere of pleasant intimacy and hospitality.
In terms of performance, AWARE is powered by a diesel-electric propulsion system, giving her a top speed of 18 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots. The concept is ready to build and can be customized to meet the wishes of its owner.
