Columbus Atlantique 38m: The Latest Luxury Superyacht Launch

Columbus Yachts has officially launched the 38-metre M/Y Principessa Capricciosa, the newest addition to the Atlantique superyacht series, at its Savona shipyard on March 10, 2026. This model is the most compact in the Atlantique line and follows the successful launches of the Atlantique 43 M/Y Frette, M/Y Night Fury, and Atlantique 47 M/Y Acqua Chiara.

The Atlantique 38m combines elegance, performance, and functional design, making it ideal for yacht owners seeking a luxurious and immersive experience at sea.

Design and Exterior Features of Columbus Atlantique 38m

The exterior and interior design were created by the Milan-based Hot Lab studio, with naval engineering handled by Columbus Yachts. The yacht features clean, elegant lines with a sporty edge inspired by Italian GT cars.

The hull silhouette recalls classic sailing yachts, while the recessed stern sits only 50 centimetres above the water. Full aluminium construction ensures lightweight strength, optimized performance, and a refined aesthetic.

Luxurious Interior Layout and Guest Accommodations

The Columbus Atlantique 38m accommodates up to 12 guests in five cabins:

• Four double guest cabins with en-suite bathrooms on the lower deck.

• A forward main deck owner’s suite with two bathrooms, a walk-in wardrobe, and a private terrace.

The crew of six, plus the captain, is accommodated in four cabins on the lower deck. A garage at the stern stores a 5-metre tender and a jet ski.

Performance and Technical Specifications

With a semi-planing hull and two 2,000 hp MAN engines, the Atlantique 38m reaches a top speed of 22 knots and cruises comfortably at 19 knots.

This model strikes a balance between size, operational efficiency, and comfort, offering long-range capability with lower crew and operational costs.
