Baglietto launched the L’Instant, a 40-meter superyacht from its shipyard in La Spezia, marking the debut of its hybrid propulsion system in the DOM 133 series. This new model, unlike its predecessors such as Bee, Astera, and Jules, is equipped with an innovative hybrid propulsion system that combines a diesel engine with a compact electrical motor installed between the engine and the gearbox. This hybrid system is designed to run on HVO biofuels, significantly reducing CO2 emissions by up to 90 percent, making it a step forward in the industry’s sustainability efforts.

The addition of this hybrid system required modifications to the yacht's layout, with a redesigned upper deck now housing the 5.8-meter tender and two Jet Skis, supported by a 1600kg davit for handling.

L'Instant’s design, by Stefano Vafiadis, showcases a striking angular profile, while its interiors, customized by Leonardo Santi, reflect luxury and eco-consciousness. Notable changes include relocating the galley to the lower deck to create space for an extra VIP cabin. Both the VIP cabin and the forward master suite feature automated windows for natural ventilation, and the guest cabins on the lower deck come with custom portholes offering the same functionality.

The yacht also boasts redesigned interior staircases connecting all decks, including the sundeck, which features a multi-purpose bar with a dumbwaiter. The pool area has been replaced by an outdoor gym. Eco-friendly materials, such as carpets and fabrics made from recycled ocean plastic and regenerated industrial waste, contribute to the yacht’s sustainable profile.

L’Instant is powered by its diesel engines, reaching a maximum speed of 17 knots, while in full-electric mode, it can achieve speeds of nearly 10 knots.
