Zeelander Yachts has announced the delivery of a new Zeelander 5, built for a Turkish owner and marking the arrival of the latest generation of the model in the Mediterranean. Combining handcrafted luxury with high-performance engineering, the yacht reflects the Dutch shipyard’s philosophy of creating fully bespoke motor yachts tailored to each owner's lifestyle.
Finished in a distinctive Light Gazelle metallic paint inspired by Bentley automobiles, the exterior shifts elegantly between grey and bronze depending on the light. The colour was selected to match the owner's private aircraft and luxury cars, highlighting the project's highly personalised character.

Developed through close collaboration between Zeelander's in-house design team and the owner's chosen interior studio, the yacht showcases a refined combination of premium materials and custom details. High-gloss Greystone cabinetry, Macassar wood-effect finishes and Mirage Rustic upholstery create a warm contemporary atmosphere, while Bentley-inspired diamond stitching with Hermès orange thread adds a distinctive luxury touch.

The influence of renowned luxury brands continues throughout the interior. Hermès orange accents appear in selected furniture, cockpit seating and the sun loungers, while a sculptural Corian countertop in the main saloon becomes one of the yacht's most eye-catching design features. A Rolls-Royce-inspired starlight ceiling enhances the ambiance after sunset, complemented by bespoke additions including a built-in cigar humidor and a retractable television for outdoor entertainment.

Designed primarily for owner operation, the Zeelander 5 features a spacious full-beam master cabin positioned amidships for maximum comfort and stability, alongside a forward twin guest cabin that offers privacy for visiting family or friends.

Performance remains one of the model's defining characteristics. Powered by Volvo Penta IPS propulsion, the yacht reaches speeds of up to 40 knots while maintaining exceptionally low noise levels. Advanced sound insulation allows guests to converse comfortably throughout the yacht, even at maximum speed, delivering an experience that is both dynamic and remarkably refined.

According to Zeelander Founder and Chairman Sietse Koopmans, every yacht built by the Dutch shipyard is unique, reflecting the owner's personality and preferences rather than following a standard specification. In this case, the project evolved over more than three years, resulting in a yacht that seamlessly combines bespoke craftsmanship, innovative design and effortless performance.

With this latest delivery, Zeelander further strengthens its presence in the Mediterranean, introducing a yacht that embodies exclusivity, comfort and the timeless elegance for which the brand has become known.
