Benetti Oasis 36M: Real Onboard Experience Shapes the Next Evolution of the Oasis Family

Benetti unveils the new Oasis 36M at the Cannes Yachting Festival, evolving the distinctive Oasis concept through the real-world experience of Owners and crews already cruising with the family.
At the Cannes Yachting Festival 2026, Benetti introduced the new Oasis 36M, the latest evolution of a yacht family that has established a distinctive approach to life at sea and to the relationship between yacht and ocean.
Created in collaboration with British firm RWD for the exterior design and Bonetti/Kozerski Architecture for the interiors, the Oasis 36M is not simply an extension of the existing range. Its development has been informed by the experience accumulated across the Oasis fleet already at sea, combined with direct dialogue with Owners and Captains.
According to Sebastiano Vida, Head of Product at Benetti, the new model is the result of “active listening”. Understanding how Owners actually use their yachts and how crews operate onboard has informed the evolution of the naval architecture, spatial flow and technology.

More Space Where Life Happens
The Oasis 36M reconsiders its onboard volumes around the way guests actually spend their time.
The outdoor areas that define the Oasis experience, including the Sun Deck, Upper Deck terrace and signature Oasis Deck®, have been substantially expanded, creating greater flexibility and more opportunities for outdoor living and entertaining.
Inside, the architecture follows a more fluid approach, reducing unnecessary structural elements in favour of brighter, more open environments. Crew pathways have also been reconfigured to provide a clear separation between guest and crew areas, allowing the crew to operate efficiently while remaining discreetly in the background.

Going Further with Less
Efficiency is another central element of the new Oasis generation.
The Oasis 36M incorporates a newly developed bow bulb from Benetti’s R&D department, reducing hydrodynamic resistance by more than 10% at a cruising speed of 10 knots. Fuel consumption remains below 30 litres per hour per engine at cruise speed.
The increased hull efficiency also allowed Benetti to reconsider tank capacities based on real fleet data. As Owners increasingly choose to spend longer periods at anchor, part of the volume saved through reduced fuel capacity has been reallocated to increase the black and grey water tanks to 5,000 litres.
The result is greater autonomy at anchor, allowing guests to remain in remote bays for longer periods without the need to return frequently to a marina.

Quietly Effortless
On the Oasis 36M, comfort extends beyond the size and arrangement of the spaces. Acoustic performance, operational simplicity and reliability have become key elements of the onboard experience.
Mechanical and deck-handling systems, including garage doors, lifting mechanisms and the fold-down wings of the Oasis Deck®, now use 100% electric actuation instead of traditional hydraulic systems. The solution reduces the risk of oil leaks, simplifies maintenance and significantly limits mechanical noise and vibration.
For propulsion, Benetti retains the proven shaft-line system as the foundation of the yacht's long-range capability, while also offering a hybrid propulsion configuration based on Siemens Siship EcoProp. The plug-in technology is designed to reduce emissions, fuel consumption and noise while maintaining operational safety.
Intelligent Engineering

Technology also plays a growing role in protecting the Owner’s experience.
The Oasis 36M is equipped with SCR systems to reduce emissions, going beyond the regulatory requirements applicable to yachts below 500 GT.
Benetti is also introducing D.gree, a data management platform developed in partnership with SailADV. Combining digital twin technology, structural modelling and machine learning algorithms, the system monitors hull and fluid-dynamic parameters in real time. It can identify potential anomalies at an early stage and predict maintenance requirements for engines and generators, helping to reduce downtime and maintain operational readiness.
With the Oasis 36M, Benetti is not changing the fundamental identity of the Oasis family. It is developing it through real experience at sea.
More space where it matters, greater autonomy at anchor, improved acoustic comfort, more efficient propulsion and technology designed to anticipate maintenance needs all contribute to a yacht conceived around the way Owners actually live on board.
The result is a new interpretation of the Oasis philosophy, where design, engineering and real-world cruising experience come together to shape the next generation of life at sea.
