Winch Design in collaboration with ICON Yachts, created the interiors for the 70m Project MASTER. Reborn from a historic offshore rescue and standby vessel, the nearly 3,000 GT MASTER is built to explore the world's most remote and uncharted regions.
Project MASTER was first unveiled at the Monaco Yacht Show in 2021. This year, the exciting announcement of the new design took place on the opening day of the prestigious event. Acclaimed designer and shipbuilder Espen Øino is responsible for her new look. While a significant portion of the original platform and superstructure will remain, a new extended stern section, incorporating Voith eVSP propellers and an aft swim platform, will bring the overall length to an impressive 70 meters.
MASTER's interior design aims to create a harmonious space where family and friends can gather, embark on adventures, and the connection to the ocean can inspire exploration. It is envisioned as a haven that balances luxury with functionality, offering an environment where every detail enhances both exploration and comfort.
Inspired by the layers of the ocean, each deck within MASTER transitions seamlessly through a journey of light, texture and depth. The interplay of light and dark, combined with the careful selection of materials, enhances the experience on board.
At the top of the yacht, the Owner’s Deck draws inspiration from the calm surface of the ocean. As you descend through the decks, the tones and textures change, reflecting the darker blue colored depths of the ocean. The Wellness Deck evokes cooler, deeper waters.
Replicating the mysterious depths of the deeper layers, Main Deck uses darker tones and subtle textures to create an intimate and introspective atmosphere.
Sustainability is also a cornerstone of this project, with Winch Design using environmentally friendly materials and suppliers.
