Baltic yachts joins the new trend of yachts with colorful hulls and presents a sailboat with a pastel pink hull.
The Bold Colorway is a first for the Finnish shipyard, but not for the industry. VisionF unveiled an 80-foot pink catamaran last October, while Bilgin Yachts and Rossinavi unveiled red superyachts last February and June, respectively.
With construction underway, Baltic Yachts has announced that the Baltic 80 Custom is set to launch in the summer of 2024.
Commissioned by an experienced yachtsman, the Baltic 80 Custom is a particularly elegant and sporty looking yacht and could be considered a 'new generation 80' capable of fast offshore cruising and excellent performance on the racing course.
Designed by German studio Judel/Vrolijk & Co, the exterior is characterized by sleek lines and a distinctive reverse angle design. The custom cruiser will be built in advanced composite materials. The low level roof has a folding sprayhood and bimini for protection from the sea and wind.
The yacht’s accommodation is for six guests in three double cabins with a further cabin for two crew.
Other features include twin rudders, a lifting keel and a conventional propulsion unit driving a folding propeller. A large stern garage will house a jet-driven Williams 395 tender.
Henry Hawkins, executive vice president at Baltic Yachts, said: "She’s a particularly sleek and sporty looking yacht and could be regarded as a ‘new generation 80’ in a size range which has recently been attracting attention from clients. A lot of design work has been done to produce what should be a great performance cruiser-racer."
