ISA Yachts launches M/Y Belita, its new 80-metre flagship

At 2,220 GT, the new ISA Custom 80m marks a significant step forward for the Italian shipyard’s large custom yacht portfolio
Ancona, 15 September 2026 | ISA Yachts, part of Palumbo Superyachts, has launched the new ISA Custom 80m M/Y Belita, an 79.82-metre superyacht with a gross tonnage of 2,220 GT. The yacht now becomes the shipyard’s new flagship, further strengthening ISA Yachts’ position in the large custom yacht segment.
The launch represents a major milestone for the Ancona-based shipyard, reflecting the engineering, production and organisational capabilities required to deliver a yacht of this scale. Belita is also the second 80-metre yacht built by Palumbo Superyachts, following the Columbus Classic 80m M/Y Dragon.

The project brings together three prominent names in international yacht design. Espen Øino International created the exterior architecture, Peter Marino Architect developed the interiors, while Hydro Tec was responsible for the naval architecture.
Belita’s exterior profile is defined by long, clean lines and a deliberately restrained superstructure. Extensive dark glazing reinforces the yacht’s horizontal proportions, while the descending volumes towards the stern create a strong visual connection with the sea.
At the aft, the architecture gradually opens towards the water, with expansive terraces and a prominent swimming pool forming one of the yacht’s key outdoor areas. The arrangement creates a fluid transition between the interior and the surrounding seascape.

Inside, Peter Marino Architect developed a completely bespoke environment shaped around the Owner’s vision. Architecture, materials, craftsmanship and detailing have been brought together to create highly individual spaces, with customisation extending throughout the yacht.
Measuring 12.50 metres in beam and with a full-load draft of 3.40 metres, Belita is powered by twin MTU 16V 4000 M65L engines, each producing 2,240 kW. The yacht is expected to reach a top speed of 18 knots, with a cruising speed of 14 knots and an estimated range of approximately 7,000 nautical miles at 10 knots.
“Behind a yacht of this scale are years of work, thousands of decisions and the contribution of hundreds of people,” says Giuseppe Palumbo, Sole Director of Palumbo Superyachts. He describes Belita as a reflection of the group’s approach to construction, centred on rigour, attention to detail and quality throughout the build process.

The 80-metre yacht also forms part of a broader expansion of ISA Yachts’ large yacht portfolio, which includes projects currently under construction ranging from 80 to 90 metres, as well as yachts reaching up to 100 metres.
For ISA Yachts, M/Y Belita therefore represents more than a new flagship. It marks another step in the shipyard’s evolution towards increasingly ambitious fully custom projects, combining Italian craftsmanship with large-scale engineering and contemporary yacht design.
