Renowned designer Jay Aberdoni, known for his futuristic designs such as Arrakeen, Prelude and Dust, has unveiled his latest ground-breaking superyacht concept, named Day One, measuring an impressive 73.3 meters long.
Characterized by a sweeping sense of simplicity and fashionably sharp minimalism, the superyacht.
"designed to capture the classic elegance that is all about yachting," explained designer Jay Aberdoni.
Day One harkens back to the minimalist creations of the 1960s and 70s and epitomizes Aberdoni's vision of 'dominant minimalism', a design philosophy tailored to the bold and non-conformist. Featuring low bulwarks and extensive glass elements, the yacht offers panoramic views, elevating the experience of life on board to unprecedented levels
Accommodation is for 11 people in six cabins, including the forward-facing owner's cabin with an "infinity lounge" that includes a dedicated veranda, a jacuzzi and a set of sunbeds.
Seamless integration of indoor and outdoor spaces characterizes Day One's layout, with sliding doors facilitating easy access to extensive outdoor areas.
Leisure highlights include a helipad, beach club gym and spa, cinema room and spacious upstairs terrace. The upper deck is open and features a TV lounge, bar-style seating and several couches arranged around a swimming pool.
A standout feature of Day One is her innovative undercover tender garage, which unfolds to create an expansive outdoor terrace while at anchor. This unique layout allows guests to relax and dine on the lower deck, offering guests unparalleled ocean views.
“Every surface is a sublime expression of confidence and style, which is only suited for the nonconformists,” the designer adds.
