Oceanco to Showcase Leviathan and Draak at the Monaco Yacht Show 2026

Oceanco is set to make one of the most anticipated appearances at this year's Monaco Yacht Show by presenting two remarkable projects that represent a new approach to superyacht design and operation. The 111-metre Leviathan and the 93-metre Draak, both owned by Gabe Newell, will be on display at the cruise terminal, attracting significant attention throughout the show.

The 2026 edition marks the first time Oceanco has exhibited both a newly delivered yacht and a comprehensively rebuilt project at the Monaco Yacht Show. Although different in origin, Leviathan and Draak were conceived to operate together as companion vessels within the Inkfish fleet, supporting scientific expeditions and marine research around the world.

Delivered in late 2025, Leviathan reimagines onboard living by placing equal emphasis on guest experience and crew wellbeing. Open communal areas encourage interaction between guests and crew, while carefully selected low-maintenance materials improve operational efficiency. The yacht also features dedicated facilities including a dive centre, laboratory and onboard medical centre, allowing it to actively support Inkfish's scientific missions.

Completed in June 2026 following an extensive rebuild by Oceanco's Life Cycle Support division, Draak has been transformed into a highly capable expedition platform. Equipped with advanced diving facilities, a versatile tender fleet and heavy-duty lifting systems, she now operates alongside Leviathan, extending the fleet's capabilities during complex research and exploration missions.

Both projects reflect Oceanco's collaborative philosophy, with every aspect of their design developed through close cooperation between the owner, designers, engineers and specialist partners. According to CEO Marcel Onkenhout, each yacht is shaped by the unique vision of its owner while benefiting from the expertise of the entire Oceanco ecosystem.

The shipyard continues to strengthen that ecosystem with the addition of Alewijnse and Winel, joining specialist companies Aluship, Lateral and Mercury. Together, they aim to accelerate innovation across yacht design, construction and lifecycle support while enabling increasingly ambitious custom projects.
