The Brazilian shipyard MCP Yachts has announced the sale of its largest yacht to date. The 48m yacht was commissioned by a regular client of the yard and will be built at the yard's facilities in São Paulo.
Details remain confidential at this stage, although MCP Yachts took this opportunity to reveal details of two new projects designed in collaboration with Dutch studio Vripack.
The first, Project Venice, is a 42m "charter-optimized" yacht with a flexible cabin layout, accommodation for 12 people and leisure amenities such as an upper deck Jacuzzi and a center deck pool. Project Elysium is the second concept, 46 meters long and characterized by a wide, clean bow dedicated to a helipad, with storage space for a tender and jet skis hidden below.

"MCP Yachts is excited to begin construction on our largest yacht to date and to present two new projects that reflect our continued partnership with Vripack," said Manoel Chaves, founder of MCP Yachts. "At the same time, Project Venice and Project Elysium demonstrate our continued commitment to innovative design and unparalleled luxury."
This construction follows the tradition of the 40.7 meter long Hygge. Also designed by Vripack, she has the largest volume for an aluminum motor yacht built in South America.
