Benetti Launches Two Steel Giants in Less Than a Month: M/Y Symmetry & M/Y Dagger

The Livorno-based shipyard Benetti has reinforced its Steel Legacy with the back-to-back launches of two hybrid B.Now 67M yachts, M/Y Symmetry and M/Y Dagger. These launches, just three weeks apart, highlight Benetti’s leadership in the construction of custom steel yachts, combining generous volumes, hybrid propulsion systems, and the signature Oasis Deck® design.

Both yachts feature steel hulls with aluminium superstructures and are the first hybrid units of the B.Now 67M family. Their design and construction reflect a balance between state-of-the-art engineering, comfort, and environmental responsibility, including advanced acoustic comfort to eliminate vibrations and noise both underway and at anchor.

M/Y Dagger

Guests are welcomed aboard by the Oasis Deck®, Benetti’s signature feature developed by RWD. With its infinity pool and fold-out side wings, it creates a seamless connection with the sea, offering panoramic views and enhancing social spaces.

While the exteriors are cohesive, the interiors reflect distinct personalities. M/Y Symmetry, designed by Reymond Langton, features pale colours, custom fabrics, lacquered metals, textile artworks, and a sculptural “ice effect” chandelier. M/Y Dagger, by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design, presents linear layouts with natural tones, nine types of wood, and areas designed as private art galleries with spotlit niches for paintings and sculptures.

The hybrid propulsion system is fully modular, with engines, generators, and battery packs working together to optimize energy use and silence on board. Variable pitch propellers improve efficiency across all speeds, while a heat recovery system uses generator energy to warm domestic water and the pool, maximizing overall efficiency.

With these two launches, Benetti confirms the market’s shift toward yachts that combine technological innovation, environmental awareness, and high-end comfort-setting a new benchmark in custom steel yacht construction.
