Benetti introduces B.Neos, a 40-metre hybrid yacht that redefines the relationship between technology, design and the human experience on board. Conceived as a return to what truly matters, B.Neos is not simply a new model, but a new mindset. One where silence, balance and authenticity shape a more meaningful way of living at sea.

Designed by Malcolm McKeon Yacht Design with interiors by FM Architettura, B.Neos brings together the intelligence of sailing yachts and the comfort of motor yachts in a refined, low-profile silhouette. Its proportions are deliberate and restrained, prioritising harmony over excess and creating a timeless presence that feels effortlessly modern.

Giovanna Vitelli, Chair of Azimut|Benetti Group, describes the philosophy behind the project as a conscious shift in values.

“Today’s owners seek a return to what truly matters: a lifestyle defined by essentiality, harmony, and peace of mind. With B.Neos, we didn’t just design a new product; we rethought the entire ownership experience to remove complexity and bothers. We chose proportion over volume and used technology to eliminate redundancy. The result is a yacht inspired by the intelligence of sailing, informal in spirit and deeply connected to the water, yet unmistakably a Benetti.”

Born of balance

The exterior design reflects Malcolm McKeon’s signature focus on proportion and environmental dialogue. The low profile, clean lines and expansive glazing ensure an uninterrupted connection with the sea, whether seated or moving through the yacht.

“In designing B.Neos, our aim was to strike a balance between being contemporary, elegant, and timeless,” explains Malcolm McKeon. “We translated the aesthetic purity of a sailing yacht into a motor yacht layout, keeping the lines as essential as possible and the profile deliberately low. The connection with the sea is constant and intentional.”

Inside, Francesca Muzio’s vision moves away from formality toward warmth and lived-in comfort. Spaces feel personal rather than monumental, with a flowing layout that encourages connection between people and nature. Light wood, glass and neutral tones form a calm canvas, allowing owners to make the yacht their own.

“For B.Neos, the vision was to rediscover the purity of yachting by removing complexity and reclaiming a true sense of freedom at sea,” says Muzio. “We created whole, open spaces that unite people, with unobstructed views from aft to the galley. The atmosphere shifts from a polished aesthetic to something warmer and more home-like, where intimacy and social life coexist naturally.”

Within 296 GT, B.Neos maximises spatial efficiency, offering a contemporary lifestyle that mirrors life ashore while remaining deeply connected to the marine environment.

Born silent

Hybrid propulsion is the core of B.Neos, not an optional upgrade. The integrated system is designed around comfort and quality of life, enabling silent navigation, reduced vibration and the absence of exhaust fumes during key moments on board.

Powered by twin MAN V8-800 engines, the yacht operates seamlessly across multiple modes, from Zero-Emission and Hotel Mode for silent electric operation, to Diesel-Electric, Crossover and Boost Mode for efficiency, flexibility and manoeuvrability. This intelligent ecosystem delivers up to 30 percent lower energy consumption compared to conventional yachts of the same size.

By designing the hybrid system as a standard solution from the outset, Benetti has optimised the engine room footprint, allowing the yacht to sit closer to the water and freeing up valuable space in the aft cockpit for guests.

Advanced onboard technology further enhances the experience, with smart automation, 5G and Starlink connectivity, and AI-supported systems. Through augmented reality tools, crew can visualise systems behind surfaces, while real-time data sharing with the shipyard enables remote monitoring and immediate technical support, ensuring reliability and peace of mind.

Born contemporary

Life on board B.Neos unfolds through fluid, informal spaces that prioritise time, nature and human connection. The aft pool area flows directly into the Sea Atrium, a 2.4-metre-high, glass-enclosed space that reimagines the beach club as a light-filled social hub.

At the heart of the yacht lies the Family Kitchen, an open and intimate space designed for shared meals and everyday moments, without the constant presence of crew. When desired, sliding glass partitions allow the area to transform into a more formal dining environment, offering flexibility without compromise.

A key architectural decision places the wheelhouse forward on the Main Deck, freeing the Upper Deck to become a private Owner’s Deck. Here, a panoramic Owner’s apartment with 270-degree views offers a level of privacy more commonly found on yachts over 60 metres. Above, the Observation Deck provides an inviting sunpad, suspended between sea and sky.

B.Neos introduces a new ownership model where luxury is defined by simplicity and control without complexity. Through Benetti’s Peace of Mind programme, the yacht is supported by an integrated ecosystem of services designed to protect long-term value and eliminate operational concerns.
