The Mangusta GranSport 50 was officially presented last week at the Palm Beach International Boat Show, marking a significant moment for the Italian shipyard as it expanded its Sport Utility Yacht range.

Following shortly after the launch of the GranSport 38, this new model introduced a redefined approach to space, balancing performance, volume, and long-range cruising. She was developed through collaboration between the shipyard’s Engineering Department, Ausonio of P.L.A.N.A. Design for naval architecture, and designer Alberto Mancini.

A key feature of the yacht was the Raised Pilot House, integrated into her aerodynamic profile. This configuration allowed the layout to unfold across three and a half decks, offering new perspectives and a clearer separation between technical and living areas. By relocating the pilot house, the upper deck became a space designed for living rather than simple passage.

Her exterior lines remained clean and dynamic, while extensive glazing introduced a lighter visual presence. Frameless glass surfaces enhanced the connection between interior and exterior, maintaining privacy while allowing uninterrupted views towards the sea.

Inside, natural light defined the atmosphere. The main deck was entirely dedicated to the owner, with a full-beam master suite featuring large glazed surfaces and an optional opening balcony. The upper forward area was organized around the infinity pool and a panoramic lounge, which could be configured as an additional cabin or a private lounge or office.

At the stern, the yacht connected directly to the sea through a sculptural staircase leading to the beach club. This space could transform into a relaxation area or a gym, while the forward garage layout allowed the aft section to remain open and focused on outdoor living.

She accommodated up to 12 guests in five cabins, with nine crew members in five cabins. Powered by twin MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines, she reached a top speed of around 20 knots, cruised at 16 knots, and offered a range of up to 4,200 nautical miles.

With her debut complete, the Mangusta GranSport 50 redefined onboard living, where space, light, and layout reshaped the experience at sea.
