Following last month's launch at Damen Yachting’s Antalya facility, the latest 53-metre Yacht Support vessel has officially begun sea trials. This third unit in the YS53 line is now in the final phase of construction, with delivery scheduled for summer 2025.

Pim Oostra, Project Manager at Damen Yachting, commented:
“We are delighted that this YS53 has entered the sea trial phase. It’s an important step toward her imminent completion this summer. As the third in the all-new YS53 series, she’s a great example of our purpose-built Yacht Support vessels designed for continuous reliability.”

The YS53 has been developed specifically for Owners with active, adventurous lifestyles who require capability, adaptability, and multifunctionality. Following the 2024 deliveries of BAD COMPANY SUPPORT 175 and FIVE OCEANS, this third hull continues the success of the series.

Its exterior blends modern functionality with angular design, engineered for performance in all conditions. The axe bow reduces vertical motion, improving comfort in rough seas, while the high bow and spray rails keep the deck dry and equipment protected from saltwater.

With its expansive aft deck, the YS53 offers optimal flexibility for tenders, toys, and equipment ready to support any yachting mission.
