Riva has launched the 20th hull of the Riva 102’ Corsaro Super at its shipyard in La Spezia. The yacht belongs to Formula 1 driver Charles Leclerc, who already owns a Riva 82’ Diva and has once again chosen the Italian brand for his latest yacht purchase.
The launch ceremony took place on May 7 in an elegant and intimate atmosphere, attended by Leclerc and the shipyard team behind the project. During the event, Alberto Galassi highlighted the strong relationship between the driver and the brand, describing Leclerc’s continued trust in Riva as a reflection of the yacht builder’s focus on beauty, technology and onboard comfort.
The Riva 102’ Corsaro Super is the evolution of the popular 100’ Corsaro model, combining sporty exterior lines with contemporary elegance and stronger connections to the sea. The yacht was developed through a collaboration between Officina Italiana Design, the Strategic Product Committee led by Piero Ferrari and the engineering department of Ferretti Group.
Leclerc customised both the exterior and interior spaces according to his personal style. Outdoor areas feature furniture by Minotti alongside decorative details by Jim Thompson. The flybridge includes a fully customised bar area equipped with a grill, induction hob, fridges and an ice maker, designed for entertaining guests outdoors.
The yacht also offers a spacious beach club area of over 35 square metres, complemented by an inflatable platform for water toys and direct access to the water.
Inside, the contemporary interiors include furnishings by Poliform and several bespoke details personally selected by Leclerc. Premium materials and finishes include Calacatta Vagli Oro marble in the owner’s bathroom, while luxury linens are supplied by Frette and tableware by Christofle. Entertainment systems by Bang & Olufsen are installed in the main salon and master suite.
Powered by twin MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines delivering 2,638 horsepower each, the yacht reaches a top speed of 28 knots and cruises comfortably at 24 knots. Advanced stabilisation systems, including Seakeeper gyroscopic stabilisers and Sleipner Vector Fins, further enhance onboard comfort both underway and at anchor.
