Italy-based Officina Armare has revealed the new concept for a 40m superyacht, the Espada. The 'go-anywhere' explorer yacht offers multifunctional use of space alongside expandable areas.
Designed as a compromise of style and functionality, the Espada features a luxurious design with modern sensibilities. Its exterior exudes a timeless charm, captivating onlookers with its elegant lines and seductive silhouettes.
The four-deck layout includes a main saloon with wet bar, alfresco lounge and forward dining. The owner's suite on the upper deck, which sleeps 10 in five cabins, has a private veranda.
Espada's upper deck is accessed via stairs located on each side of her main deck, offering panoramic sea views.
One of Espada's standout features is the lower deck beach club, featuring a pool with custom seating and folding side decks, creating an expansive space for guests to enjoy, with the addition of a floating staircase connecting the beach club to the main deck
Also, the aft pool has a glass bottom and is visible from the seating area directly below, giving anyone sitting there the feeling of being in the water and is connected to the main deck by a floating staircase.
The interior design is based on earth tones with an emphasis on brown and green, in minimal lines.
Her main salon includes a wet bar and dining options forward that open to an alfresco lounge.
Espada ensures a perfect balance between luxurious accommodation and efficient operation.
The Master Suite on the Upper Aft Deck offers the owner a spacious suite with an elegant marble bathroom and a private balcony with sea view.
In terms of performance, the Espada will be powered by twin Caterpillar C32 engines of 1,925 hp each, which together with a specially designed hull offer a top speed of 18 knots and a cruising range of 3,600 nautical miles.
