At the Folgore Day event in Miami, Maserati revealed the world’s first convertible all-electric car, and we were impressed by another one of their unveils. This is the Tridente all-electric luxury motorboat that dots the Italian automaker’s presence on the waters as well.
It will be an electric 10 meter developed in collaboration with Vita Power. The 10.5m motor boat is built for day cruising on the lake and shores or as a tender on a larger yacht, offering a cruising speed of 25 knots, a top speed of 40 knots and recharging in less than an hour.
The TRIDENTE has seating for 8 passengers in a cockpit which can be configured for dining or acceleration. Passengers can relax on a sundeck alongside a bathing area with a shower and ladder for swimming. An enclosed cabin forward includes a day berth and WC.
The dayboat is made of carbon fibre, finished to the highest creative standards by the craftsmen at Hodgdon Yachts, a US boatbuilder from Maine with a history of over 200 years of passion and excellence, and a specialist in superyacht tenders
The Tridente is available to order now, with a starting price of $2,660,000 at current exchange rates, and delivery will take approximately 10 months.
The future of Maserati is 100% electric and it is very close because already by the end of this decade (the official date is 2028), the entire Trident range will be electric.
