On 13 March 2026, the 78.20-metre ODISEA departed Germany to begin her maiden voyage, marking the delivery of another remarkable yacht by Lürssen. Built under the project name ACE 21, the yacht combines contemporary design with the capability to explore remote destinations in comfort and style.

Since the early 2000s, the German shipyard has delivered more than twenty yachts below 80 metres, representing roughly a third of all vessels built by the company during this period. ODISEA also marks an important creative collaboration, as it is the first time Lürssen has partnered with the renowned British design studio RWD for both the exterior and interior design.

The result is a yacht defined by elegant simplicity and a strong architectural presence. Her silhouette is characterised by a vertical bow and purposeful lines that convey quiet confidence. Expansive glazing plays a key role in the design, dissolving the boundaries between interior and exterior spaces while allowing natural light to flood the yacht’s living areas and offering uninterrupted views of the sea.

Inside, ODISEA presents a calm and welcoming atmosphere designed for relaxed living on board. The interiors feature a refined palette of natural tones, soft woods and pale marble. Organic textures and subtle transitions replace elaborate ornamentation, while carefully selected artworks and layered finishes bring warmth and depth to the spaces. The overall concept reflects RWD’s philosophy of thoughtful design focused on family life at sea.

One of the yacht’s most distinctive features is the Beach House, a glass-encased lounge located on the main deck. With three-metre sliding doors opening on three sides, the space connects seamlessly with the aft deck and its teak-lined pool, creating an exceptional indoor-outdoor environment. The complex glass structure was engineered and constructed in-house by Lürssen, highlighting the shipyard’s expertise in advanced yacht construction.

The yacht also offers an impressive range of lifestyle amenities. On the foredeck, a flexible sports court can be adapted for basketball, pickleball, yoga or pilates. The sundeck transforms from an open-air relaxation area into an enclosed skylounge and includes a Jacuzzi, bar, fire pit and dining area for up to twenty guests.

Additional features include dual outdoor cinemas, a dedicated wellness area and a fully equipped water sports zone designed for diving and fishing.

“Every yacht we build asks something new of us,” said Peter Lürssen. “Working with RWD on ODISEA allowed us to push new boundaries in both engineering and spatial arrangement. The result is a yacht designed entirely around modern life at sea.”

In line with Lürssen’s commitment to environmental responsibility, ODISEA is equipped with a compact exhaust system featuring a patented SCR technology that significantly reduces NOx emissions.

The Owner’s Build Team was led by owner’s representative Dan Robsham of Mariner Technical Services, who noted that the collaboration with the Lürssen and RWD teams throughout the design and construction process was both productive and rewarding.

With her elegant design, innovative architecture and versatile lifestyle features, ODISEA represents a new expression of modern superyacht living.
