Launch of the Second Amels 80 in the Netherlands with Design by Espen Øino International and Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design

Damen Yachting has confirmed the successful launch of the second Amels 80 from its main construction facility in Vlissingen, the Netherlands. The 80 metre superyacht has now entered the final outfitting phase, ahead of her scheduled delivery later this year, just in time for the Mediterranean summer season.

This marks the yacht’s first appearance afloat at the shipyard since her arrival for outfitting in August 2024. She is immediately recognisable by her dolphin blue metallic hull, platinum bootstripe and crisp white superstructure. The yacht fully reflects the Amels Limited Editions philosophy, combining a proven technical platform with a high level of personalisation.

The exterior design is by Espen Øino International, while the interiors have been custom designed by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design. Among her distinctive features is a speakeasy style bar inspired by a 1960s casino atmosphere, designed for relaxed evening gatherings on board.

Sold in December 2022, only months after the Amels 80 was introduced, this yacht follows the delivery of her sister ship PANGEA, the first Amels 80, delivered in October 2025. Her launch represents another important milestone for the Amels Limited Editions series.

Speaking after the launch, Project Manager Stefan Regtvoort noted that seeing the yacht afloat is a proud moment for everyone involved, highlighting the close cooperation between Damen Yachting, its partners and the Owner’s team throughout the build process.

At 80 metres, the yacht offers generous exterior and interior spaces. Highlights include a large Sun Deck with an oversized jacuzzi, a Beach Club opening on three sides with direct sea access, and a dedicated wellness area featuring a gym, hammam and sauna. On the Main Deck aft, a 6.5 metre glass bottom pool also functions as a skylight, bringing natural light into the Beach Club below.
