Italian design studio InMind Design has unveiled its latest vision of luxury at sea — the 49.9-metre Interstellar. Featuring bold black-and-white contrasts, streamlined architecture, and a dramatic aft deck, this concept yacht blends futuristic elegance with the robust spirit of an explorer vessel.
Studio founder Lorenzo Squadrito envisions Interstellar’s owner as “someone with artistic sensitivity – who sees design as a form of cultural expression.” This is not a yacht for blending in, but a vessel that embodies vision, identity and creativity.

From first glance, Interstellar captivates with its fluid, avant-garde form. Stacked, overlapping decks create the illusion of suspension, while the sharp bow contrasts with a wide, open aft section. Extensive use of glass — especially on the sundeck — creates a continuous dialogue between the yacht and the sea.

The heart of the yacht is its multi-level aft deck, which features casual outdoor dining, sunbathing areas, and a striking infinity pool. Below it lies an expansive beach club, complete with folding bulwarks that open up 270-degree views and smart storage options — including a concealed tender lift.

A VIP Suite from the Future
One of Interstellar’s most iconic features is the main-deck VIP suite, where curved, floor-to-ceiling glass panels and mirrored walls on both sides create a light-filled, architectural space that merges seamlessly with the sea.

Refined Interiors & Outdoor Spaces
Designed to accommodate up to 12 guests, the yacht also features a sundeck lounge dressed with plants, a full gym with treadmills and weights, and a custom-designed tender reflecting the mothership’s sculptural lines.

Guests can enjoy formal dining for 14 on the upper deck, while a multifunctional helipad at the stern converts into a panoramic pool — maximizing both utility and design.
