Benetti Celebrates the Slipway Launch of the Class 44M M/Y FORTITUDE1

Viareggio, June 4, 2025 – Benetti has celebrated the traditional slipway launch of M/Y FORTITUDE1, the latest addition to the Class 44M line and the largest fiberglass yacht built at the Viareggio shipyard to date. The yacht reflects the renewed trust of a loyal owner and bears the refined signature of Cassetta Yacht Designers, responsible for both the exterior and interior design.

M/Y FORTITUDE1 combines elegance, functionality, and tailor-made solutions. With natural light flooding through expansive glass surfaces and refined elements such as white marble flooring on the Main Deck, the interiors are bright and inviting, designed to foster shared moments and serene sea experiences.

Notable areas include the panoramic Sky Lounge, the beach area, and the aft section of the Main Deck, all reflecting the Owner’s vision of warmth, elegance, and conviviality at sea.

The yacht’s exterior offers a contemporary reinterpretation of the Class line’s timeless elements, enhanced by many custom features – most notably the large sunpad on the Upper Deck, created specifically for the Owner.

The launch ceremony, held on the shipyard’s historic slipway, was rich with symbolic meaning, paying tribute to Italy’s deep maritime tradition. As Daniela Petrozzi, Benetti’s Sales Director, remarked:
