Azimut's latest innovation presented for the first time on July 29 at the Avigliana factory, is the Fly 62, which is not just the new model of one of Azimut's most representative Series, but a milestone in the evolution of the category.
Azimut's goal was to satisfy the owners' desire to be closer and closer to the sea, with a flybridge designed for long stays on the yacht. And Azimut's answer, radical in its apparent simplicity, is to reinvent the cockpit and push it towards the stern, creating a progressive descent towards the sea.
The Beach Cockpit was born. The transom opens outwards and, in a contemporary move, the settee is lowered, eliminating all natural barriers, creating a large sunbathing area close to the water with a connection to the sea that is unique for a yacht in this class.
On the Fly 62 with a length of 20 meters and a top speed of 32 kn, you can dine with a view of the sea and live immersed in nature through spaces designed to accommodate different generations and activities. Some rest in the shade and others swim, others have an aperitif and the rest sunbathe – all while maintaining the feeling of sharing these moments.
The exterior design is by Alberto Mancini and for the interiors, Azimut renews its collaboration with architect Fabio Fantolino for his second project with the yard.
We will see the Fly 62 up close at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2024 as there Azimut will present the yacht to the public for the first time!
