Turkish shipyard Ares Yachts has announced a new 54m explorer superyacht concept called Atlas.
The exterior lines of the yacht were designed by Milan-based Italian design studio Hot Lab and blend with Van Oossanen's naval architecture, including a Fast Displacement Hull Form (FDHF).
Designed to stay under the 500GT limit, the Atlas boasts a "genuine go-anywhere capability" with options for hybrid propulsion and solar panels to reduce its environmental impact.
"What is missing in an exploration yacht of around 50 meters? That was the principle behind the Atlas." With this principle in mind, the team focused on improving the owner's private space, ensuring that he has the best possible view of the vessel, while also considered practical ways to have a direct connection with the beautiful seascape.
Atlas is carefully designed, offering a unique layout of spaces that maximizes usability and enhances the overall sense of luxury. A full-length entry platform ensures easy access, while the accommodation's strategic location provides direct connection to the beach club, seamlessly integrating indoor and outdoor living.

She can accommodate 19 people in two double and two twin guest cabins and an Owner's Suite, along with 9 crew in 5 cabins.
Atlas interior features are designed to redefine the concept of comfort. The interior design of the Atlas can be customized according to the wishes of the customers, although the team primarily envisions a modern, minimalist aesthetic with clean lines and smooth surfaces.
