PROSPEED, all about this effective treatment!

It is a very effective antifouling coating system for propellers, shafts, rudders, PODS, and other specific underwater components. It is designed to increase boat efficiency and speed by forming a highly slippery coating to which fouling organisms such as crustaceans, algae and oysters cannot bind or adhere.

It works because it makes surfaces very smooth and non-toxic to marine life (unlike conventional antifouling coatings, better known as antifouling paints).

Propspeed can be used on boats of all sizes and types – commercial and recreational – including sailboats, cruisers, fishing boats, superyachts, trawlers and more.

It is very effective on metal surfaces and other underwater surfaces such as:

Shafts, propellers, rudders, axle systems, bow thrusters, stabilizers, metal inlets and outlets, thru hulls and more.

The effectiveness of Propspeed depends on the movement of your boat: the more you use it, the more it works.

it has an effect:

– To improve speed

– To offer a great reduction in consumption

– To provide a longer lifetime for the anodes.

It can be used in both sea and fresh water.

The effectiveness of Propspeed is not adversely affected if the boat remains out of the water for extended periods in cold or warm climates. Just make sure you protect the areas covered by Propspeed.

If you pressure wash your boat, it is important to cover all coated parts of PropSpeed.

Caution, high pressure spray gun, scraping and other abrasive cleaners will destroy the finish layer and eliminate its effectiveness

The cost of the kit is from 170 euros for 200 ml and from 470 euros for 1 liter. The amount you will need depends on the size of your boat, but also on the surface you decide to cover with the specific material.

You can get it either on line or from your local marine supply stores.
