The Abu Dhabi International Boat Show (ADIBS) has announced the launch of its state-of-the-art Innovation Center in partnership with Yachting Ventures. The Innovation Hub will be dedicated to supporting CleanTech and sustainable start-ups in the shipping and yachting industries.
Scheduled to take place from 9 to 12 November 2023 at the stunning Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, ADIBS is now in its fifth year and is quickly gaining a reputation as the leading platform for the shipping industry in the Middle East. It attracts leading exhibitors, industry professionals and yachting enthusiasts.
The Innovation Hub will be a flagship initiative, demonstrating Abu Dhabi and ADIBS' commitment to promoting environmental sustainability and supporting the development of innovative solutions for a cleaner and greener future.
Working with Yachting Ventures, ADIBS has designated a spacious venue for 15 CleanTech start-ups, who will travel from all over the world to participate in the event.
We choose the followings to show you:
1. ZeroJet
It designs and manufactures electric jet propulsion systems for small boats, providing sustainable and reliable navigation. Their world-leading plug and play system is easy and quick to install by boat builders and gives boats a quiet yet exciting ride on the water.
2. REGENT
It creates zero-emission Seagliders that can cross the sea in one of three ways: sailing on the hull, sailing with a hydrofoil or flying close to the ground to provide high-speed sea transport and logistics.
It presents the future with 'The Icon', a collaboration between Tyde and BMW, a masterpiece that defines all-electric sea travel in ultimate luxury. It sails quietly, smoke-free with an unprecedented level of comfort, as the foiling technology allows it to glide over the waves.
It builds environmentally friendly Floating Padel Court Solutions to create unique water gaming experiences, offering the opportunity to combine Padel-tennis and other water services and businesses, on the same platform.
It brings safety to anchoring because it provides information during the entire mooring process to the captain and crew, in real time.
