Mercury with the start of 2023 presented its new electric model
At the 2023 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Mercury Motors proudly introduced theBrand new Avator™ 7.5e electric outboard.
A revolutionary achievement,which is both the first of its kind from Mercury and others scheduled for release this year! Two more models currently in development were also introduced: the powerful Avator 20e and 35e outboards.
You won't have to wait long to get your hands on the Avator 7.5e electric outboard, whichwill be available for purchase later this year, in both controller and remote control models. For those who opt for the handle model, portability is enhanced by a folding handle that doubles as a carry handle and an innovative quick-connect mounting system for attaching it to transom arms. Owners of boats with different style rudders should consider themthree different optionscontrols offered with remote control models. Each product is powered by an easily replaceable lithium-ion battery, created in collaboration with the battery specialists at Mastervolt.
Boaters who choose this electric motor can conveniently charge their batteries overnight with the included charger or take advantage of additional high-speed chargers for faster recharge time. Each charger is compatible with a standard household outlet. The new outboards will also be powerful and efficient. To turn battery power into something practical, Mercury equipped the Avator 7.5e outboard with a crossflow engine — an advanced and highly efficient technology that offers boat owners many advantages. The Avator 7.5e outboard is designed for optimum performance, delivering 750W of power to the propshaft while keeping up with one of Mercury's 3.5hp FourStroke models for speed and acceleration — making it ideal for use in a variety of small craft such as micro boats, jon boats, aluminum fishing boats, rigid inflatables and kayaks/canoes equipped with suitable transoms.
